WHERE ALL STARTED
OUR STORY
In a very quiet park, we started a Bible Study Group in 2012. In the beginning we were only four people who regularly attended to it. The goal of this study was to help these young people to understand and distinguish the true and the false teaching from the various messages that are preached in some churches. More the truth became clear to them more important the desire to get closer to God and to grow in faith become. Meanwhile, the goal has changed, it was not just to identified the right from the wrong any more, but rather, as believers to identify themselves as member of the body of Christ and to understand the true meaning of having a personal relationship with God. Guiding these young people and helping them to live a Godly life through the knowledge of God's word become the greatest part of this Bible study meeting.
The group has increased in active members with people coming from different churches, still young people. We used to meet every Sunday to pray together and to study the word of God. We even used social networks to share our experiences with one another during the week, we share our prayer requests, our testimonies and verses to meditate on and think about. This work has allowed us in 2015 to bring four young adults to repentance, they were baptized and they continue to grow in the knowledge of God's word.
WHO WE ARE TODAY
After 10 years in the apostolic movement namely, evangelism, preaching, teaching biblical doctrines, training leaders for the ministry and biblical counseling, Promogos Ministries has today become a congregation of mature and Spirit-filled men and women who work in the unity of faith to bring as many people as possible to the Lord through several ministries established for this cause.
Promogos Ministries continues to make its mission a priority in our community and in the lives of its members, that of proclaiming the gospel of grace and faith, promoting piety and preparing and equipping God's people for the work of the ministry.
We are a Spirit-Filled Church Working for the Perfecting, the Edifying and the Maturing of the Body of Christ.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to clearly communicate the word of God to His people and empower them to continue the work of ministry, which will create a spiritual environment for them to grow in faith and become mature for service. We do this by transforming lost people into disciples of Jesus Christ. Our ministry is holistic, touching the whole person: spirit, soul and body.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, promote godliness, and prepare and equip God’s people for the transformation of the church in the worship of God. We define this as the 3P mission.
OUR PASSION
Our passion is to passionately teach and reveal the unchanging truth of the Bible, infusing biblical knowledge and understanding of God's desire for man to live by faith, grow in intimacy with Him, and worship Him in spirit and truth.
