The Stewardship Ministry ensures the effective management of the Church's funds (donations) and fixed assets to achieve the goals and objectives of church members and leaders. It manages material resources and oversees the Church's finances in accordance with God's plan for managing and handling the resources He provides for the needs of His church. It enables the fulfillment of God's mission through individual stewardship and spiritual gifts, and provides direction, leadership, facilities, processes, and expertise to contribute to the advancement of God's work of building the Kingdom, based on the Scriptures.

 

The Stewardship Ministry administrators are assigned to standing committees, such as Budget Review, Human Resources, Finance, Buildings and Grounds, Legal Affairs of the Church, and Contracts, to manage resources and prepare necessary reports for the Church.

 

In addition, they have the responsibility to:

 

• Prepare Church financial management policies and procedures;

• Serve as liaisons with the Church Governing Board, Boards of Ministry, the School of Ministries, and the Finance Department;

• Contribute to budget preparation, monitoring, and amendments;

• Assist ministries in managing their spending requests for Church activities and events;

• Invest Church funds and manage bank accounts and investments;

• Account for and deposit tithes, offerings, and other funds donated or given to the Church for specific purposes.
